Founder Chairman
Shri Hiralal Parakh, a selfless social worker cum entrepreneur was the founder Chairman of the Trust. He had a strong resolve to uplift the educational standards of Gandhidham so that its children may be able to stand the present day competition and come out triumphant. He wished to prepare children for challenges of present days and nurture them in such a way that they become proud global citizens.
Hirabhai was the District Governor designate of Rotary International (District 3051) for the year 2015-16. He had been the President of Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce & Industry for four terms. He had also been the President of Indian Salt manufacturers association.
He left us for his heavenly abode on 1st August 2014. His death was a big blow for the school as well as the Management. He has left a void which is very difficult to fill.
Shri Jawerilal Ghewarchand Nahata
Chairman
Shri Jawerilal Ghewarchand Nahata is a well-known industrialist of Gandhidham with a background of mechanical engineering. He is the Managing Trustee of Ghewarchand Nahata Foundation. With his inspiration,his family members have been associated with various commercial, educational, religious and social organizations of Gandhidham. His favourite subjects are Indian culture, history and education. He is an active member of Bharatiya Vichar Manch Gandhidham. Reading something creative has been a part of his daily life. Mr. Nahata took over the responsibility of the Chairman of Shri Rajasthan Jain Navyuvak Mandal in April 2023.He has been keen to work for use of modern technology & bringing improvement in the quality of education. He lays Lot of emphasis on skill development amongst students with more and more exposure through activities beyond classroom.
Shri S.K. Gupta
Educational Advisor
Shri S.K. Gupta is an eminent educationist and administrator with more than five decades of active involvement in education at the national and international levels.
He played a key role in the development of the Indian Public Schools’ Conference (IPSC) and also served as its Chairperson. He has also been a member of the Governing Council of the CBSE. For his dedication and commitment to the cause of Indian public schools, he was awarded the ‘Laxmipath Singhania Lifetime Achievement Award’ in 2006 by the IPSC.
As an author Gupta Ji has been associated with text book writing for over 50 years and has to his credit many bestselling books in Mathematics for school children of different Boards of the country.
Mr. Mridul Varma
Founder Principal
Shri Mridul Varma is the founder Principal of Amarchand Singhvi International School since 2009. He comes from a public school background and is a Gold medalist in the Commerce stream. He has a distinguished career and has a multifaceted personality. He was also the recipient of ‘Principal of the Year Award’ at the Indian Education Awards Ceremony held in New Delhi in 2015. He has also been honoured with the ‘Exemplary Leadership Award’ at Edu-Leaders’ Conclave held at Amity University Campus, Lucknow in 2017. He is presently the Secretary of Kutch Sahodaya, an association of CBSE schools of Kutch District.
Mr. Varma taught at The Scindia School, Gwalior for 14 years in different capacities. He also held various responsibilities during this time, prime among those were: HOD Commerce, House Master, Career Counsellor, I/c Tennis and Rifle Shooting. The most important was the strategic planner for the Principal. During his tenure at Scindia, he introduced various innovative ways of teaching and involved himself with students at different forums. Mr. Varma has also achieved international exposure of teaching at The Ellesmere College, U.K. in 2005. Mr. Varma is a maverick who has taken many path breaking initiatives like the British Council International School Award, STEM integration and establishing a dedicated Teachers’ Training Cell SPARK. He is capable of catering to the ever changing and evolving challenges of education.
Ms Geetanjali Varma
Headmistress
Smt. Geetanjali Varma is the founder Headmistress of the Kids World School since 2009.
She is a teacher from the Science stream, she takes keen interest in all scientific activities in school.She is a teacher from the Science stream and takes keen interest in promoting practical based learning in Science and Mathematics. She is mainly instrumental in designing the academic and co-scholastic curriculum of both the schools and is keenly involved in its effective implementation. She has also brought out well researched study material for the pre-primary students.
She has taught General Science and Biology at The Scindia School, Gwalior. Earlier, she also taught as lecturer in Bareilly College, Rohilkhand University.
